About my classes

My teaching emphasises body and breath awareness. Each class includes a flowing practice of asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing), and closes with a meditation and guided relaxation.

I teach Hatha yoga with influences from many styles of yoga. My techniques will enable you to strengthen and stretch in a positive and enjoyable way, bringing energy, relaxation and balance to both your body and mind.

My classes are in a friendly and welcoming environment. I aim to create the best possible setting for you, with spacious rooms, heating, atmospheric lighting and music.

Yoga can be practised in many different ways. Some use it to strengthen and stretch the body and to relax. While others find that through yoga they begin to explore the body and mind connection. Yoga is not a religion - it can be practised by all faiths and none.

I believe that anyone can practice yoga whatever your age and whatever you believe your limitations are. You don't have to be flexible or strong to practice yoga, you will become both of these as your practice deepens.
